Kuvings Customer’s Experience after 3 months!
Using the Best Cold Press Juicer on market has been a cherishable experience for customers and has been recorded by the kitchen.
Summary – Should you Buy Kuvings B1700?
Overall, I found the Kuvings slow juicer very user-friendly as the experience of juicing, cleaning, and storing is very pleasant. If you are looking for an excellent quality of juice at home, buying a good slow juicer is the way to go.
Amongst many slow juicers available in the market Kuvings and Hurom rank the best. Being price-conscious I opted for Kuvings(between these two), and I think it is totally worth it. However, I do strongly recommend you check out some more user reviews and pictures of the product by Clicking Here & Here.
I have juiced all kinds of vegetables and fruits so far and I have been completed satisfied with the results. The design of the juicer makes the cleaning of different parts of the juicer post juicing is easy and convenient.
I make my green juice every morning and it takes in a total of 20 mins for prep – juice – clean – store. I have recommended Kuvings Professional Cold Press Whole Slow Juicer (B1700) to several of my friends and family and I would definitely recommend it to you as well, however, you can check for specifications and more reviews here.
Kuvings B1700 Cold Press Juicer Review:
I was using my Panasonic blender for juicing and then had to strain the pulp to get the juice. While it was decent, the juice was not as pure as I had to add water. The mixer grinder also heated up the contents while juicing, killing a lot of nutrition in the process.
I wanted to buy a good slow juicer but the price was holding me back. Finally, during the Diwali sale, I got the Kuvings Professional Cold Press Whole Slow Juicer (B1700) in a Lightning Deal + Instant Cashback on my HDFC card at a steal price.
This is an expensive investment, but now that I have tasted what Kuvings has to offer, I would buy it even without the deal. The quality of juice is incomparable to what you would get out of a blender or masticating juicer. What you get out of a slow juicer is pure nutrition!
I ordered the product online on Amazon during the Diwali sale. Even during the festive season Kuvings shipped and delivered the juicer on time.
The day before I was supposed to receive the juicer I got an SMS welcoming the Kuvings family. Later in the day, I received a WhatsApp message from Kuvings with contact details of an assigned account manager for any queries I had related to the juicer.
This was very assuring. I was at peace that the post-order support was really great.
Finally, the juicer arrived!
The main box was covered in a cardboard box, and it was delivered in pristine condition. On opening the box, the various parts of the juicer were neatly stacked in different compartments. The main machine is quite heavy compared to any normal mixer grinder.
At first, looking at all the parts and putting them together seemed complicated. I spent around 15 minutes going through the manual and trying to get all the parts together.
I felt that the guide can be designed better for a layman/woman to understand the workings quickly.
However, once I figured out the entire assembly, now it is very easy for day-to-day use.
Operating the Kuvings Cold Press Juicer
The juicer comes with the on, reverse and stop functions. The two jars that come along are for collecting juice and dry pulp.
The juicer does not switch on if all the parts are not in alignment, which I feel is a very important safety feature. The reverse function is very helpful if any piece of a vegetable or fruit gets stuck while juicing. Overall, operating the juicer is easy.
I mainly juice vegetables and green leafy vegetables like carrots, beetroots, ash gourd, bottle gourd, ginger, amla, cucumbers, potatoes, cabbage, spinach, coriander, curry leaves, celery.
In my experience so far the juicer takes out the most juice of all the vegetables. You get more juice out of fruits because of the high water content. But personally, I avoid adding fruits in my green juice.
The taste of juice does not change for a long time because the oxidation process is slower as compared to the juice from a blender or masticating juicer. I generally carry the extra juice in a bottle to work as my mid-morning snack.

Addressing Common Concerns:
In the reviews that I read prior to buying, a lot of people complained about the fiber coming out in the juice. Personally, I feel that some amount of fibre is important in the juice because it is also an important part of the nutrition one gets out of juicing.
I would say the fibre that you get in the juice from this juicer is not a lot and is of an optimum amount. I do know a few folks who strain the juice to avoid any fiber, but the juice that comes out works perfectly fine. In fact, the fiber gives the juice a nice texture and something to chew on.
As per the instructions on the box, you can directly put the whole fruits and vegetables in the juicer. But, I generally chop them in big chunks. That way it is easy to put the ingredients in the juicer. This will also help me ensure my slow juicer remains problem-free for years to come.
Also, hard seeds are not be put in the juicer, so always cut amla, peaches, apricots, and anything that comes with hard seeds. I peel the skin of cucumbers and apples. This way you also avoid the wax that comes on the skins of fruits and vegetables these days.
The pulp (waste) that comes out is close to bone dry. If you juice ingredients with the skin you will see more chunky pulp than ingredients without skin. I have also read people hand squeeze the pulp to get the last drop of juice. Personally, if feel the whole point of using the slow juicer is that you cut out on the manual process of squeezing and straining.
Looking at the parts of the juicer, one might think cleaning will be a task. But that is not the case at all. Also, Kuvings provides a well-designed cleaning tool that makes cleaning the fiber out of the strainer, very convenient.
I like to cloth dry all the parts and assemble back the juicer, so it does not take any space on my kitchen counter and the next morning the juicer is ready to be used again!
Kuvings offers extra strainers for ice cream/sorbet and smoothies. At this point in time, I do not need them, I am good with just the juice strainer that comes with the juicer. As I hardly make ice cream at home and I use my Kitchenaid Diamond Blender for smoothies. You can check for the extra strainers here.
To end the review, I would say if you are looking to make high-quality nutritious juices at home, close your eyes and buy Kuvings Professional Cold Press Whole Slow Juicer (B1700). It is worth every penny you would spend. After all, health is most important.
